Chance Alexander Hoyt, born December 23, 1997, found peace on December 18, 2022, at the young age of 24. He graduated from Etude High School in 2016 and quickly found his passion in sales. He enjoyed the friends he made and the people that he served, most recently at US Cellular, Deertrace Kohler.

Chance was an exceptionally compassionate person. He had a tender heart, loved fully, listened intently, had a gift of seeing others perspectives, and was a faithful friend. He was introspective and had a great sense of humor. Chance enjoyed cooking and trying uncommon foods and new restaurants, playing video games, an occasional hike, and collecting watches.
Chance loved his family. He was especially happy to be an uncle to Maizy and Archer. They held a special place in his heart. Chance is also survived by his mother, Jennifer Mikalowsky (Glenn Bscherer), sister Taija Ernst (Anthony), stepbrothers Cameron and Clayton Bscherer, aunts and uncle: Amanda Huerta (Fred), Tonya Lohse (Geno), Matt Mikalowsky, other family and cousins: Ray Hoyt, Natalie and Logan Huerta, Philip Doyle, Kaiden and Jariet Mikalowsky and Paige Kuffel.

Chance is preceded in death by his very special grandma, Bette Jo Mikalowsky and family friend Joseph Harris III.

Family and friends may gather at Hope Reformed Church, 612 Ontario Avenue, Sheboygan on Saturday January 7, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m.

My heart sank when I saw Chance in the obituaries. I had the privilege to get to know Chance and work with him at Etude. I always enjoyed his witty side, his laid-back personality, and his smile. Such a special soul taken way too soon from this earth. My deepest condolences Jennifer to you and your family at such a difficult time. May all the good memories give you comfort in the days to come.

Such a deep thinker he was, even in grade school. Our sessions together always brought out laughter and pause on life. I’m sure you will miss him, he’s one of those folks that just will not be forgotten. Peace to Chance and glad we shared the time we had! Mr. Hodges
