Cindy M. Hoeft, 67, of Sheboygan, passed away on January 20, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. Cindy was born in Sheboygan to the late Herbert and Ruth (Mertz) Haack on March 6, 1958. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School. Cindy was united in marriage to Albert Hoeft on April 4, 1984 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She had a longtime career at Piggly Wiggly where she worked for over 40 years. Cindy had a special place in her heart for dogs and had rescued several over the years. She also enjoyed spending summers at Shawano Lake.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Albert; sons, Dennis (Abby) Hoeft and Scott (Jessica) Hoeft; grandchildren, Isabella, Caroline, Campbell, Carter, Cameron; sister, Laurie (Tom) Beck; nieces, Stephanie and Kimberly; nephew, Tyler as well as other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Randy Madson.
A graveside service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Cindy’s name to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County.
The family would like to thank the Transplant Department of the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Aurora Medical Center in Grafton for their care of Cindy.
