Clemens Acker was born on December 4, 1925 and passed away on June 19, 2021 at the age of 95. He attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School with the class of 1945. On October 22, 1949 Clemens was united in marriage with Myrtle Heim at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Sheboygan. During his working years he was employed as an insurance agent with Met Life for 27 years until his retirement. He was an active member at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where he was also a part of the Men’s Club. Clemens enjoyed cars, traveling and playing cards.
Clemens is survived by his children, Larry (Lynn) Acker, Tom (Sarah) Acker and James (Debbie) Acker; grandchildren, Laura (Bruce) Paluch, Luke (Carissa) Acker, Emily Acker, Alexander Acker, Benjamin Acker, Zachary Acher and Austin Acker and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle; parents, Clemens and Laura Acker and sisters, Harriett (Joseph) Coyne and Annette (Tom) Byrne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1350 Humboldt Ave., Sheboygan, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Mass at 1:00 p.m.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kerpe and nurse Carrie as well as the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, especially Karina, for their care of Clemens.

To Clem's Family - while our mother Emmy Knopp was living at Terrace Estates/Place, Clem was a wonderful friend to her. He would sometimes take her to appointments, which saved us from coming from Milwaukee. He brought her fruit (usually cleaned & cut-up) and other treats, and ran errands for her. We were so thankful to Clem for providing companionship to Mom! And we were also impressed at how active helpful he was, especially at his age. He was truly a good man, and a great example of how to be human! Our condolences, thoughts, and prayers.
