Colleen M. Bubb, 66, of Sheboygan lost her short battle with cancer on March 31, 2026, with her loved ones by her side.
Colleen was born February 9,1960 to Jerome and Tony Hawley in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Colleen loved going on long walks on the beach and cheering on the Brewers, Packers, Badgers, and Bucks. She enjoyed sitting on the patio in the warm sun and listening to music; country was her favorite. She graduated in 1978 from Plymouth High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Lakeshore Technical Institute. On November 11, 2019, Colleen was united in marriage to Larry Bubb in their home.
Colleen is survived by her husband Larry, son Adam (Angela) Nigh, Waukesha, daughter Kristin Nigh, Plymouth, and stepson Nick (Alyssa) Bubb, Madison, grandchildren Owen Ellinger; Leo, Eli, and Jax Nigh; Owen, Rosie and Alex Bubb. She is further survived by sisters Carrie (Steve) Freund, Kelly Meyer (Mark Hoffman), brothers Craig (Lisa) Hawley, Mike (Stephanie) Hawley, along with many nieces and nephews. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and stepson, Matthew Bubb.
Cremation has taken place per Colleen’s wishes. There will be no funeral service, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nick Gustafson and the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, along with the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center for their kind care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center.
