Cynthia A. “Cindy” Pagels, age 70, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice on October 16, 2022 with her family at her side. Cindy was born in Menomonee Falls on October 29,1951 to the late Ervin and Joyce (Boomer) Rott. She was united in marriage with Phillip M. Pagels on June 9, 1990 in Port Washington. Cindy was most recently a department manager at Wal-Mart and enjoyed her job until retirement. She enjoyed gardening, spending time in nature, and supporting local charities. Cindy also enjoyed volunteering as a lunch supervisor at Sheridan Elementary School. All of the children there held a special place in her heart along with the staff who considered her family.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Phillip Pagels; daughter, Connie (Ken) Lahr; grandchildren, Taylor Cwikla (Kaitlin Klotz), Rachel (Gabe) Reyes and Katy (Logan) Lemond; great-grandchildren, Ariah and Ezra Reyes and siblings, Lee (Lonnie) Rott, and Tammy Madajewski. She is further survived by loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and her beloved pets, Nikita, Patches and George. Cindy is preceded in death by her son, Michael Lussmyer; parents, Ervin and Joyce Rott and sister, Diane Rosales.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Hope Church, 612 Ontario Ave., Sheboygan, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations will be used to memorialize Cindy at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful and caring staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. The care and comfort they provided was exactly what was needed and is greatly appreciated.
