David A. Glaubig, age 62, of Sheboygan passed away from cancer on September 6, 2023. He was born on October 28, 1960, to Donald Glaubig and Delaine Rogge.
He attended local schools and graduated from South High School. When he was young, he enjoyed skateboarding. He played baseball in local adult recreation leagues. David loved nature and especially being in the water kayaking, boating, or fishing. He even braved the cold waters of Lake Michigan participating in the Polar Plunge on New Year’s Day several times. He had many talents, such as cooking, drawing, painting, and carpentry.
David had a kind heart. Although he never had any children of his own, kids loved being around David. He always listened and was a fun brother and uncle. He also loved animals and they loved him. He spent some time volunteering at the Sheboygan Humane Society. His good-natured personality always made it nice to be around him.
David was preceded in death by his father Donald Glaubig, stepfather Robert Rogge, nephew Matthew Scharrar, uncle Larry Born, and aunt Donna Born. He is survived by his mother Delaine Rogge, stepmother Jan Glaubig, siblings and half siblings Debra (Robert) Thill, Linda Theune, Mary Scharrar (Jeff Fink), Terri Saxe, Roberta Fenton, and Donald Glaubig, II; uncle Douglas (Wendy) Born, nieces and nephews Nicole (Pat) Hindes, Jason (Kelly) Thill, Lisa Thill (Aaron Howard), Ashley (Greg) Sehring, Eric Schuh, Kayla Theune, Kyle Theune, and Gavin Saxe; several great-nieces and nephews, and other beloved family and friends.
The family will be having a private memorial service.

Mary (Weber) Renner

Dave and my mom were together for years, back in 1992ish. When I had my son Tony, Dave loved him so much. Sadly, Tony died in 2000, and Dave passed away on Tony's birthday, September 6th. My heart goes out to his family, especially the Thill Family because I was their babysitter for many years and I know how much they loved their uncle. May peace be with you all.
