David Edward Schultz, 60, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 14, 1964, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, David will always be remembered for his infectious smile, his quirky sense of humor, and being that “fun” uncle. He will also be remembered as an adventurer, known to skydive and rock climb. In recent years, David loved spending time at his future retirement home in Redgranite, Wisconsin, often enjoying the outdoors and working his land.
David was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1983 and served two and a half years. He was employed at Kohler Co. for 36 years, most recently in Kitchen & Bath manufacturing as an Enamel Cell Operator.
David will be deeply missed by his sisters, Karen Feldmann of Spring Lake and Diane Hoffmann of Cedar Grove; brother-in-law, Steve Hoffmann, along with his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Garbisch, Jamie (Sadie) Feldmann, Joseph (Nicole) Feldmann, Sheila (Hoffmann) Voskuil and Jon Voskuil, Renee (Hoffmann) Weyker and Eric Weyker, and Ciara (Hoffmann) Dieringer and Brandon Dieringer.
David is survived by his aunt, Jane Briggs of Wautoma, Wisconsin and aunt, Agnes (Aggie) Malson of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and numerous cousins. David is further survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan Garbisch, Kezra Garbisch, Destiny (Garbisch) Chapman, Wyatt Weyker, Gabriella (Gabby) Feldmann, Taylor Voskuil, Maverick Feldmann, Daxton Dieringer, Kennedy Voskuil, Treyson Dieringer, Wilhelmina (Willa) Feldmann, Hailey Voskuil, Margaret (Maggie) Weyker, and Raydon Dieringer.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Edward and Barbara Ann (Malson) Schultz; nephew, Jeffrey Feldmann Jr. and twin great-nieces, Brooklyn and Riley Voskuil.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center Neuro Trauma Team, and Sheboygan Aurora Medical Center’s Critical Care Unit, Palliative Care and Hospice Teams for their compassion and support during David’s final days. Your work is truly sacred and you have been a gift in our most difficult days.
David’s life will be celebrated with a private family memorial and burial.
