David Fischer, age 60 of Sheboygan lost his battle with cancer on Sunday afternoon February 13, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. David was born November 4, 1961, in Sheboygan to the late Kenneth and Camille (Querino) Fischer. David was a 1980 graduate of South High School and was employed at Kohler Company for over 22 years. Growing up he enjoyed playing basketball, working with graphic arts, and attending live concerts. He was most passionate about music; he liked it all and he liked it loud! He enjoyed hunting with his father and grandfather, disc golf with close friends, and always up for an adventure with his lifelong friend Scott Dunn. Those who knew him best knew that he was exceptionally loyal to his family.
Survivors include his sister Carol Bruns of Sheboygan, children Jennifer (Troy) Erickson of Sheboygan, Zachary (Angel) Fischer of Fond du Lac, Daniel Fischer (Zoe) of Milwaukee, Elizabeth Fischer (Chad) of Sheboygan, ten grandchildren Dakota, Kieler, Lucille, Jett, Camdon, Hanna, Brianna, Liam, Delilah and Carter. David is also survived by nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Jean Renzelmann and Rita Fischer.
Although David’s wishes were to forego a funeral service, his children felt it important for close family and friends to gather, remember, and honor his memory. They extend invitation to join them at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Friday February 18, 2022, from 4-6 p.m.

Special thank you to the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for the incredible care and patience demonstrated during his time with them. Generosity was one of David’s core virtues. He regularly donated to several initiatives. In an effort to carry on that gesture, in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
