David M. Weidemann, 49, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, died from heat stroke at his property in Price County, Wisconsin, on July 5, 2026.
He was born in Sheboygan on August 23, 1976, to Mark and Virginia (Ginny) Ambrose Weidemann. David attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1995. He acquired his Journeyman’s license as an Industrial Electrician and Millwright and was employed at Nemak in Sheboygan for 29 1/2 years.
On July 21, 2006, he was united in marriage to Dawn Schreurs. David and Dawn were celebrating 20 years of marriage this month and shared four daughters together. He was a member of First Congregational UCC in Sheboygan.
David was an avid cornhole player and was a member of the Brat City Baggers Corn Hole Club. He also enjoyed spending time on his land up north in Price County. He loved both hunting and fishing, and was an enthusiastic Packers, Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers fan. David also loved music, particularly Pearl Jam. Supporting and attending baseball, volleyball, and basketball games for his children, nieces, nephew, and grandson was a priority for him. This past year David enjoyed spending time with his new granddaughter.
David is survived by his wife, Dawn Weidemann, and four daughters: Carly (Sergio) Medrano of Texas; Merissa (Branson) Radl, Eleanor Weidemann, and Elsie Weidemann, all of Sheboygan; a grandson, Bentley Radl; granddaughter, Camila Medrano; parents, Mark and Ginny Weidemann of Sheboygan; sister, Angela (Greg) Binversie of Howards Grove; brother, Kevin (Jamie) Weidemann, also of Howards Grove; a nephew, Kameron Weidemann; two nieces, Makenna and Addilyn Weidemann; and brother-in-law, Dale Schreurs, of Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Willie Weidemann, and father-in-law, James Schreurs.
