Diane J. Hackbarth, 76, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Diane was born in Sheboygan on January 8, 1948 to the late Melvin and Jeanette (Verhulst) Trempe. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School in the class of 1964. Diane worked for many years at Georgia Pacific until her retirement. She was very involved in the Business and Professional Women organization and Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Diane is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Kate (Dan) Malmon; siblings, Ann (Paul) Govek, Mark (Karen) Sprangers, Pat Kevin, Bruce (Lynn) Sprangers, and Neil (Leigh) Sprangers as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Roman Sprangers, and brother David Trempe.
Private services are being held with burial to follow at Wildwood Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held on June 30th at Al and Al’s.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their compassionate care.
