Dolores “Lollie” Fox, 86, of Sheboygan, passed away at home on Friday, August 2, 2024. Dolores was born to the late Paul and Lucy (Trimberger) Fox in Sheboygan on March 10, 1938. She attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in the class of 1956. She worked at local restaurants and at Pine Haven in the kitchen for 19 years. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Holy Name Choir, St. Anne’s Society, Mission Ladies Quilters and swim clubs at the YMCA and Central High School pool. She was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Dolores also enjoyed bowling, quilting, camping and gardening.
Dolores is survived by her three children, David (Sandy) Koelpin of Jackson, WI, Mark Koelpin (friend Deborah) of Elkhart Lake, and Kris (Brooks) Hesselink of Sheboygan. She is further survived by grandsons, Justin, Alex, Evan and Wade Hesselink; sister, Rosemary Anderson as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary (Rogers) Zarling; two brothers, Paul and James Fox; brother-in-law, Arthur Anderson and nephew, Michael Anderson.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave., Sheboygan, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude, the Humane Society of Sheboygan County or Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Dolores’ name.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and the “church ladies” for the love, care and support they provided as well as all the family and friends that reached out, prayed and visited.
