Donna M. Karle, age 90 of Sheboygan passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022. Donna was born June 1, 1931, in Sheboygan to the late Leon and Severa (Lorenz) Weiss. She attended Sheboygan schools and graduated from Central High School in 1950. Donna was united in marriage to Marvin Karle on July 25, 1953; he preceded her in death in 2018. She was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, volunteered with the food pantry, visited the sick, and enjoyed golfing and bowling. She was a member of the PTA, helped with the Cub Scouts and the Brownies. Donna also was employed as a food server at Grant Elementary School and South High School. She was a loving wife and mother who always put family first, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include her children Michael (Lynn) Karle of Naples, FL, Teresa (Bradley) Niemuth of Oshkosh, and Christine Hess of Sheboygan, grandchildren Lauren (Luis) Ramirez, Sara (Chris) Wegener, Adam (Ashley) Niemuth, Derek (Anna) Niemuth, Kimberly (Brandon) Rakow, Mitchell (Crystal) Hess and ten great-grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters Lorraine (Frank) Batt, Delores (Leland) Breckheimer and Jean (Edmund) Steele.
Family and friends may gather at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Paul Fliss will officiate. Burial to follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

I want to express my sympathies to Donna’s family. I am so thankful for your mother’s friendship. She worked with my mother for years at South High School and they remained friends. She stayed in touch with my dad after my mother's passing, which he loved their conversations and reminiscing.
