Dorothy Regutis was born on November 2, 1927 in Milwaukee to the late Joseph and Anna Kleespies and passed away on July 19, 2021 at the age of 93. She attended Rufus King High School in Milwaukee. On September 18, 1948 she was united in marriage with Frank R. Regutis who later preceded her in death on September 21, 1963. During her working years she was employed by The Wisconsin Telephone Company as a switchboard operator. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, cooking, car rides, playing Kings in the Corner, she loved animals and more than anything she loved her children. She made friends easily and was loved by everyone.
She is survived by her children, Frank Regutis, Laurie (Joseph) Posephny, Linda Wagner and Michele (Thomas) DeFelice; grandson, Matthew DeFelice; nephews, John Hening, Norman Grunewald and Mark Grunewald. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; son-in-law, Gary Wagner and sister, Virginia (Norman) Grunewald.
A private family service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
