Uncle Ed was more than just a close relative in a small family to me. He was my godparent, whose prayers and caring nature helped propel me into a 40 year career as a Lutheran School teacher and church musician. May the Promise of the Resurrection continue to bring peace and comfort to his family who cared for my uncle so dearly and support and uphold my Aunt Elaine. Jesus is the Victor over death! Praise the Lord!
