When I first met Ed at our Rush team meeting right away he expressed his gratitude to be working with Paul and I. He insisted that every time we pray in our small groups, we should hold hands so that’s what we did which I think made our feel connected to one another and loved. The many stories Ed told about growing up that related to the lesson that night was encouraging to all of us, which also led the boys to ask him questions not about the lesson but he answered with truth and grace. I remember we would like to say “ Well you Know” quite often. I loved teaching Gods word with Ed, with his smile and perspective on life with God vs without God.
