Elaine D. (Barchacky) Lammers went to her heavenly home on October 7, 2021. Elaine was born on August 5, 1943 to Walter Barchacky and Erma (Neese)(Barchacky) Rohde in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Elaine attended Trinity Grade School, and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1961. Elaine married Jerome “Jerry” Lammers on February 24, 1964, and they had two daughters, Jodi (Gregg) Buntin, and Jennifer (Gale) Vogler. Elaine was a dedicated mom, and was very active in her daughter’s lives, and later took delight in her grandchildren, Rebekah Yurk, Benjamin Yurk, Joshua Buntin, and Samuel Buntin.

She worked as a secretary for R-Way Furniture Company until she was married, and later was a longtime church secretary at Bethany Reformed Church; she also worked for a time as a teacher’s aide at Lincoln Erdman School, and as a sales clerk for Richman Brothers during the holiday season. Elaine was very active at Bethany Reformed Church, including teaching Sunday School and helping with Vacation Bible School for many years. Elaine loved to sew, sewing many of hers and her daughters’ clothes, and later enjoyed making baby blankets for charitable causes. She enjoyed cross-stitch for many years, and later in life turned to quilting, and loved meeting with her quilting club.

Elaine was preceded in death by her mother, father, and step-father, Walter Rohde; her brothers, Stanley Barchacky and Dennis Barchacky; her parents-in-law, Lester and Alda Lammers, her sister-in-law, Charlotte (Lammers)(Meyer) Rahn, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Meyer.

Elaine is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Eldon Rahn; nieces, step-nieces, step-nephew and cousins, including Karen Rusch, with whom she shared a special bond.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in the Town of Wilson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Elaine’s name to her favorite charity, Safe Harbor. Condolences may be expressed online at www.reinboldfh.com.
