Ella Maria Schenk passed away January 8, 2022 at St. Nicholas Hospital at the age of ninety nine. Ella was born in Berlin, Germany to Johannes and Petronella Marie Drost. She attended Trade School graduating in fashion design. She also worked at Henschel Airport in Germany. Elli was married to Kurt Schenk who preceded her in death. They had two children before moving to Sheboygan. While raising her family she worked at J.C. Penny for 21 years until her retirement, enjoying many friendships while employed there. Elli was a very loving, caring person helping anyone she could. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
Survivors include a daughter Petra Veness, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many many friends.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Wildwood Cemetery with the Rev. James Schulz from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, officiating.
