Eugene C. Thiel, 58, of Sheboygan, passed away on July 10, 2023. Eugene was born in Antigo, WI on August 28, 1964 to the late Norbert Thiel and Patricia Day. Eugene graduated from Sheboygan North High School in the class of 1982. He held various jobs in Sheboygan County. Eugene enjoyed sports, especially watching all the Wisconsin teams. He enjoyed watching his nieces and nephew and would entertain them with his wild stories and games. They enjoyed playing dice and frisbee golf with him as there was never a dull moment with Eugene. He could easily be the life of the room and his wild stories and laughter will be missed.
Eugene is survived by his son, Brandon M. Thiel; siblings, Stacia (Alan) Ratzel, Patricia (Brian) Thiel, Brenda Thiel, Larry Thiel, Dennis Thiel and Glenn (Delores) Thiel and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; stepmother, Doris Thiel; brother, Gerald Thiel; sister-in-law, Betty Thiel and nephew, Shannon.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 14 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, WI, 53081. Interment will take place at Wildwood Cemetery.
