Frank Lawrence Petrauski

Frank Lawrence Petrauski, age 101, of Sheboygan, passed away on June 1, 2019 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Frank was born to the late Frank and Mary Petrauski Sr. on August 10, 1917 in Sheboygan. Frank joined the U.S. Navy when he was 18 years old and was on an aircraft carrier in the South Pacific during World War II. Frank was united in marriage on Nov. 19, 1938 to Hilda Dann at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. They were married for 70 years when Hilda passed away on February 2, 2009. Frank worked at R-Way for 40 years, retiring in 1998. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels and going fishing.
Frank is survived by his 3 sons, Ronald (Sharon) Petrauski, Larry (Sandy) Petrauski and Dennis Petrauski; grandchildren, Troy Petrauski, Todd Petrauski and Tracy (Glenn) Smies; great-grandchildren, Chad Smies, Chelsea Smies and Miranda Petrauski; great-great-grandchildren Connor and Apollo. Frank is further survived by a brother, Anton Petrauski.
Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Hilda; five sisters, Ann Washeski, Mary Kudirko, Agnes Rivers, Lillian Simon and Pauline Gerlat and his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humboldt Ave., Sheboygan, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
