Gail Meyer was born on March 9, 1954 and passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 71. She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School with the class of 1972. She was united in marriage with Robert Meyer on July 5, 1986 in Sheboygan. During her working years, she was employed by David Douglas, Continental Can, worked various part time jobs while staying home with Ashley when she was little and also owned Meyer’s Westside Lanes for a period of time. After selling Meyer’s Westside Lanes, she worked at Dutchland Plastics while watching her grandsons until her retirement in 2021. Gail was an avid Brewers and Packer fan and enjoyed playing cards with her brother and sisters, playing darts and making diamond paintings.
Gail is survived by her husband, Robert “Trinky”; daughter, Ashley (Brendan) Groh; grandchildren, Connor and Emmett Balde; twin brother, Gary Kussard; brother, Jimmy (Sharon) Kussard; sisters, Cheryl Walber, Patty (Mike) Buboltz, Marcy Herman and Heidi Kussard; sisters-in-law, Vicki Kussard and Susie Kussard and special family friend, Mike Beitzel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dorothy Kussard; brothers, Dennis and Bill Kussard. Gail is further preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A continued celebration of Gail’s life will follow, please contact the family for more details. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gail’s name are appreciated.
