Gloriann Ehrman, age 90, passed away at Sharon Richardson Hospice on Sunday, January 11, 2026, after a 5 week stay at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
She was born in the afternoon on May 4, 1935 to the late Willard and Clara Clevers Beeck during a snow storm. The doctor had to come to the house on Van Treeck Trl. and Stahl Road. Grandma Clevers was with Mom. When she was about two years old, they moved to the farm on Frontage Road where she remembers most of her childhood days. Gloriann enjoyed the crisp apples from the apple tree near the house, receiving her bike of blue and white, watching the clouds while resting in the grass, picking beans in the patch behind the house and visits from cousins and friends.
She went to school at Wilson Elementary where Miss LaVern Kuhn was her teacher for grades 1-4, Mrs. Gannon for grades 5 and 6 and, for grades 7 and 8 she was transferred to St. George Catholic School where Sr. Carmelia was her teacher.
At 14 years of age her mom and dad took her to Milwaukee where she went to Divine Savior High School. At 18 she was already professed as a Sister and sent to teach 60 second graders at Mother of Good Counsel School in Milwaukee. The next year she taught second and third grades at St. Therese in Schofield, WI. The next year she taught fifth and sixth graders at Dickeyville, WI. Then in the summer of 56’ she told the superiors to tell her what she was doing wrong and why they always moved her. They laughed and said, nothing was wrong, they always heard that she adjusted to change so well, so then sent her to St. Pius in Wauwatosa. Gloriann stayed there for three years teaching sixth graders. In the summer of 1959, her parents suffered a great loss on the farm. Lightning struck the barn after harvest, and they lost 5 buildings thus ending their farming as dairy people. Then in August, she went to Rome, Italy to finish higher studies in theology. After she finished those studies and received her diploma from Cardinal Pizardo, her superior asked her to stay in Rome and take care of the younger members. In December of 1966 Gloriann was sent to England to be the Regional Superior of the region. It was a three-year term and she returned to the U.S. in 1969. Once back in the U.S. she did retreat ministry and spiritual direction. When Gloriann was 48 she was diagnosed with cancer and during that period did a lot of re-thinking and decided to leave the Salvatorian Sisters. During the following years she married several times. Each time she lost a husband, they were sent into the arms of a loving God. She is now reunited with them.
Gloriann resided in Arizona for more than 40 years, relocating to the Sheboygan area in December of 2023.
Gloriann is survived by her siblings, Donald (Andrea) Beeck, Ronald Beeck, Judy (Jim) Krolnik, Rosalinda (Dave) Baranczyk and Mary (Jerry) Miller. She is further survived by stepchildren, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Gloriann is preceded in death by her parents, spouses, Myron Wagner, Jim Bender, Bob McClarin and George Ehrman; brothers Harold and Frederick Beeck; sisters, Shirley Welsch-Mertes, Bernice Gruenke, Alvera Beeck and Theresa Beeck; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leona Beeck-Weimann, Juanita Beeck, Donald Welsch, Aaron Mertes, James Gruenke, Jeanne Beeck and Rod Heling.

A few years ago, I think it was 2022 or 2023, I stopped by Aunt Gloriann's home during a business trip to Tucson, AZ. She was previously married to my uncle, Robert (Bob) McClarin. She immediately displayed warmth and a loving demeanor. I instantly loved her back. We stayed in touch. She wrote me the most beautiful of letters. So beautiful, I display them in my home office as a constant reminder that I have a jewel of an Aunt. Once when I phoned her, the phone was disconnected. I became concerned and called one of my cousins, Gloriann's stepdaughter, to learn of Gloriann's whereabouts. She told me that she had returned to Wisconsin and was living in an assisted living facility. I called her, and we had a nice chat. Moments ago, I was gazing upon Gloriann's letters and decided to phone her. Again, the phone was disconnected. Fearful of Gloriann's condition, I Googled her name, only to discover she had passed away. My heart skipped a beat. I felt so privileged and grateful that God guided me to Glorinn's doorstep that day in Tucson, Arizona. I am one of eleven children, all living on the East Coast. I am the only one who had the honor and privilege of meeting one of God's greatest works, our Aunt Gloriann Ehrman. God Bless Gloriann.. Herb Knoll Lake Mary, Florida 615.579.8136

I have so many happy memories of my Aunt Gloriann. She was a light shining for the whole world to see. Her calm, quiet, loving manner made everyone feel comfortable. She will be greatly missed.

Gloriann was always a cheerful, gracious, energetic and happy person despite the various circumstances in her life. May Our Divine Savior Bless you Gloriann.

Aunt Gloriann was a strong, thoughtful person who lived her beliefs. I have many memories of her as a child and adult - she was truly a matriarch of the Beeck family. God Speed Auntie!
