Harlen Voechting

Harlen Voechting, age77 of Sheboygan passed away Monday July 29, 2019 at a local hospital. Harlen was born December 27, 1941 to the late Harold and Mildred (Sommer) Voechting. Harlen attended Sheboygan schools and was a 1961 graduate of South High School. He was employed at Plastics Engineering from 1964 until his retirement in 2007. Harlen was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. He enjoyed trap shooting and was a member and past treasurer of the Riverview Club.
Harlen is survived by his children Robert (fiancée Sandra Rothering) Voechting of Sheboygan, Michael (Nancy) Voechting of Las Vegas, Amy Voechting of Sheboygan grandchildren Amanda, Brittany, Harlen, Issac, Emma, a great-granddaughter Madelyn and cousins.
Harlen was preceded in death by his parents, son Larry, grandson Robert and an infant sister.
Family and friends may gather at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Jeremy Hylen will officiate. Burial will take place at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, town of Wilson.

Harlen’s family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital Hospice and the staff at Sheboygan Health Services for the care given to Harlen over the past year and a half.
