Helga Gartmann, 80, of Sheboygan, passed away at Pine Haven in Sheboygan Falls on her birthday, August 20, 2022. She was born to the late Friedrich and Hanna Behrens in Germany. Helga was united in marriage in Las Vegas to William Gartmann on May 14, 1986. For 40 years Helga was a custodian retiring in 2001. She and her husband belong to Trinity Lutheran Church – Town of Wilson.
Helga is survived by her husband, Bill; daughters, Cindy, Tammy and Nancy; grandchildren, Travis, Holly, Crystal, David, Andrew, Jessy and Clarice; many great-grandchildren; brother, Siegfried (Sandy) Kimmler and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A private family graveside service will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Pastor Shane Cota of Trinity Lutheran Church – Town of Wilson officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pine Haven for their care of Helga.

Bill and family.
I’m sorry to hear of Helga’s passing. I met you and Helga when you were members at Good Shepherd and got to know Helga better through the Altar Guild. I always enjoyed talking to her and working with her at various Guild functions. May you all find comfort in your memories.

I worked with Helga with the Sheboygan Falls School District. She was a great person not only to work with but to be friends with. I am glad she was a part of my life. I feel I am a better person just having known her. God bless.
