Jacob “Jake” Jenko, 99, of Sheboygan, formerly of Kelly Lake, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Sheboygan Senior Community. Jake was born on September 3, 1926 in Aurora, Wisconsin to the late Frank and Apollonia (Kuglich) Jenko. Jake served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1945-1947. He was united in marriage to Marion Mills on September 20, 1947 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He worked as an upholsterer at American Chair, R-Way and Northport Boat Co. in Gillett when he moved to Kelly Lake. After he retired at the age of 62, he worked with his son in his upholstery business until he was 90 years old. Jake loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and dear friends. He also enjoyed taking trips to the casinos with his wife and daughters.
Jake is survived by his 5 children, Jack Jenko (Terry), Gary (Doddie) Jenko, Jeanne Soukup, Judy (Steve) Western and Joan (Kerry) Harder; 9 grandchildren, Jodi (Paul) Arenal, Kelly Soukup, Sarah Soukup (Corey), Nick (Amanda) Western, Carrie (Greg) Sommersberger, Jessica (Chris) Greger, Amy Western, Jared (Becky) Jenko, Jordan (Nikki) Harder; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; 6 siblings; daughter-in-law Cherie Jenko; son-in-law Jim “Ticket” Soukup.
Per Jake’s wishes, no services will be held.
