Jacque returned to her heavenly family on Friday, November 10, 2023. Greeting her are her husband Roger T. Fischer, parents Winifred (Juul) and Jerome L. Aleff Sr., her maternal grandparents Emma (Kohls) and Edward A. Juul, and paternal grandparents Stella (Winterberg) and Walter C. Aleff. She leaves behind her brother Jerome (Sandy) Aleff of Iowa, stepchildren Barbara L. Fischer, Sheboygan and Jeffery (Jake) Fischer, Sheboygan. Fondly remembered by nieces Christine Shad, Florida and Janelle Eickelschulte, South Dakota and grandchildren Amanda (Tyler) Tikkanen, Johnsburg, and Ted Fischer of North Carolina.
During World War II Jacque’s family lived with her grandmother while her father served in the European Theater. As a young child she remembered sitting on her grandfather, Walter’s lap while he read the dictionary to her. She attended Washington Grade School and took pride in the diversity of her friends, especially those she ice skated with. Jacque graduated from North High School in 1958. Never one to back down from a dare, she jumped off the North pier lighthouse and swam to shore at the Northside beach while in high school.
The University of Wisconsin – Madison was her college alma mater, graduating with a degree in social work; she returned to Sheboygan where she helped those seeking independence at RCS. After marriage she continued that effort with her real estate agency, JAC Real Estate, and maintained rental properties for RCS clients. Jacque’s motto for the agency was “Call JAC and Start to Pack.”
Jacque enjoyed golfing with her friends and mother, Winnie, and was active in the Sheboygan community serving on several boards including the Real Estate Board and acting in Community Theater Players, where she met her lifelong friend and husband Roger. Together they enjoyed an active social life. It was not uncommon to find friends gathered around the piano at their home for an evening of song. Jacque and Roger were married November 27, 1975 at First United Lutheran Church. Together they were loyal Veteran activities supporters.
She was a lifelong member at Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she volunteered most recently in the choir and hand bell choir until her memory began to limit her participation. No matter how limited her verbal abilities became, she never failed to inspire with an acknowledgement of the efforts made on her behalf and a smile until the very end.

So sorry to have read of Jacque’s death. May all your wonderful memories of her life outweigh your sadness.. This Bible verse recorded in Romans 12:12 has been of help to our family when experiencing a difficult time. It reads “Rejoice in the hope. Endure under tribulation. Persevere in prayer “. May the God of all comfort give strength and his love to each of you.

Mary M. Cappelle

You have my sympathy in the death of Jacqueline. I knew her at the Elk's years ago. She sat at our table and sometimes I would give her a ride. God Bless Mary Cappelle
