James “Jim” Gantzer, age 75, of Sheboygan passed away Wednesday April 19, 2023. Jim was born April 1, 1948, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to the late Verne and Doris (Friedl) Gantzer. Jim graduated from UW-Madison in 1971 with a degree in engineering. He was employed by Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc retiring May 24, 2006. Jim was united in marriage to Xiaoli “Lily” on November 20, 2008. Jim was a woodworker, a member of the Viking Bow and Gun Club in Valders and will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife Lily, Lily’s daughter Ren Jian yu of San Diego and his brother Jeff (Terry) Gantzer.
Private funeral services have taken place.
