Jane C. Bachman, 77, of Sheboygan, passed into the arms of Jesus on December 24, 2021 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Jane was born to the late Donald and Gertrude (Weeks) Bachman on January 5, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Holy Angels Academy with the class of 1962 and completed a professional communication degree at Alverno College in 1992. She was a Personnel Manager at Thomas Industries and worked in customer service at Nemschoff. After retirement, she enjoyed working at the gift shop at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. She was married to Leigh Swan on October 13, 1962. Jane was later married on August 18, 1979 to John Lohr. John preceded Jane in death in 2003. Jane loved music, was very active at St. Peter Claver and loved a good bargain and Reuben sandwich. Most of all, she loved her family. Later in life she took up genealogy.
Jane is survived by her children, Christopher (Janet) Swan, David Swan (Cheryle Jakum) and Jackie (Scott) Sickler; grandchildren, Jon, Nicholas (Jeni), Jessica, Jeremiah (Maggie), Stephanie and Angela (John); great-grandchildren, Corgan, Reyah, Neva, Declan, Kiyra, Fulton, Kinley and Kaylin; siblings, Karen Linke, David Bachman, Mary Bachman and Ann (Jim) Toomey; best friend Loretta Booth and many other relatives and friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Lohr; brothers, Donald, Paul and James; sister, Diane Werner.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with visitation at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. Fr. Paul Fliss will officiate. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at www.reinboldfh.com.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. The ICU, ER and staff on all floors at the hospital were incredible.
