Jean E. Neumann, 86, passed away on October 1, 2025 at Countryside Manor. Jean was born on March 26, 1939 to the late Vincent and Adeline (Stepien) Carviou in Menominee, Michigan. She graduated from Pembine High School in 1957 followed by earning a diploma from St. Agnes School of Nursing in 1960. Jean met her husband, Jim, while in Pembine, WI where they married in 1969. They then moved to Sheboygan, WI later that year. They welcomed their daughter, Lisa, in 1970 and son, Michael in 1971. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Nicholas Hospital for many years, retiring in 2002. Jean loved her family and her faith and was a longtime, active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Jean is survived by her children, Lisa (Steven) Flook and Michael Neumann (special friend LuAnn); grandchildren, Meghan (special friend Garett) and Kyle Flook (special friend Aleesa), and Harlan (special friend Bethany) and Benjamen Neumann; sisters, Sandra (Don) Micolichek and Rita (Ron) Rozmarynoski and special family friends, Mary Anderson and Tracey Villa. She is further survived by her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, parents and parents-in-law.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church, 3816 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with Rev. Christian Gugel officiating. Family and friends may gather for visitation at church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date.
