Jessie Holbrook died peacefully surrounded by his family on January 25, 2025 at the age of 88. He was born on May 19, 1936 in E.K. Holler, Kentucky. His family moved to Sheboygan in 1967. He began working for the Kohler Company in 1968 until his retirement in 1998. Jessie also enjoyed driving bus for the Sheboygan Youth Band and the Sheboygan Top Hats and always making sure the kids that didn’t bring a lunch were fed. He later met a young lady named Carol Klobuchar whom he married on April 18, 1992 and together they began growing their family. During his retirement years Jessie enjoyed the winter months in Arizona and the summer months in the UP. He also enjoyed traveling, watching old westerns, listening to blue grass music, and more than anything, he loved spending time visiting his family in Kentucky. He had a rare gift for making others smile, laugh and always feel at home.
Jessie is survived by his wife Carol and his children, Danny Holbrook, Donna Fischer, Donald Holbrook (girlfriend Cynthia Walton), best buddy his grandson Paul Fischer, other grandchildren Ryan Holbrook and Emily Holbrook and his stepchildren, Debra (Paul) Palosaari, Luann (the late John) Passmore, Brenda (Tom) Schweigl, Kimberly Johnston (special friend Jim) and the late Keith Klobuchar. Also survived by his loving brothers and sisters Russell (Beverly) Holbrook, Freddie (Judy) Holbrook and Francis Gollihue, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other relatives that he loved very much. He is preceded in death by his parents Mao and Anna Holbrook, brothers and sisters Vivian, George, Loraine, Ray and Lisie, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other relatives.
