Joan Schieble was born on May 5, 1932 to the late Joseph and Viola Soucheck and passed away on July 11, 2021 at the age of 89. She attended Holy Name of Jesus School and graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the class of 1950. Joan was united in marriage with Raymond H. Schieble on January 19, 1952. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1984. During her working years she was employed at St. Nicholas Hospital in medical records, Wigwam Mills and at the Kohler Company for 27 years until her retirement in 1997. Joan was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and the Sheboygan Lions Club. She volunteered at the Stephanie Weill Center as well as with the highway clean up program. Joan was also a Green Bay Packer stockholder and an avid fan. More than anything, she was very proud of her 8 children.
Joan is survived by her children, Tom of Dunedin, FL, Mary (Gregory) Kuhn, Michael (Stacey), James (Cindy), Sandra (Philip) Hiebing and Lisa (Lloyd) Kreif; grandchildren, Heidi Begley, Tina Persons, Stephanie Kuhn, Shelby Kuhn, Mitchell Schieble, Ian Schieble, Jenny Wensink, Jamie Van De Kreeke, Jason Schieble, Theresa Landwehr, Eric Poleski, Lee Hiebing, Anna Schmidt, Alex Grabowski and Jenna Budrick; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Diane Siemers and sisters-in-law, Barbara Teal and Margie Schieble. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; sons, Mark and Steven; sisters, LaVerne Henze and Margaret Jugenheimer Kuhn; dear friend Wolfgang Geisler, and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters- in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St, Sheboygan, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joan’s name are appreciated.
