I wish to entend my deepest sympathy to your family. Joan and I met at the YMCA. We had many nice visits. We often saw each other at church and at plays too. Bless her for the work she did with children and at the hospital. I so enjoyed reading about her life. I wish I knew her passions sooner so I could have heard her share stories. I will remember her as a lovely soft person. Pat Grams.

I'm so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. Having lost my mom earlier this year I know that this is a difficult time for your family and send you my sympathy. Now it's up to us to keep their memory alive by telling and then re-telling their stories.

We were saddened to learn of Joan's passing. We are thinking of all of her family at this time. She was a special friend to our mom, Dolores Kettler - they had so much in common to talk about! We send our prayers and sympathy...
