JoAnn Alberta (Zaletel) Gosse, age 81, of Kohler, was born to eternal life on Monday, April 21, 2025.
JoAnn was born on September 21, 1943, in Sheboygan to the late Albert Sr. and Josephine (Gluck) Zaletel. She attended Ss. Cyril and Methodius Grade School and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1962. That same year, on June 30, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Robert Gosse at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
JoAnn worked at Kohler Engines from 1971 until her retirement in 2005. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she remained a devoted lifelong member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
JoAnn was a very loving and generous individual. She believed deeply in helping others—always ready to lend a hand to her family when needed and committed to supporting charitable causes close to her heart. Her kindness and giving spirit touched many lives.
Family was everything to JoAnn. She treasured time spent with her loved ones, especially gathering for cookouts, special events, and holiday celebrations. Her warmth, thoughtfulness, and joyful presence created countless cherished memories that her family will hold close forever.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth, and their children: daughter Denise Schueffner (fiancé Thomas Landgraf) of Sheboygan; sons Robert (Carol) Gosse of Shorewood, and Ronald Gosse of Kohler. JoAnn was a proud grandmother to Mark (Emily) Schueffner, Sarah (Brandon) Miota, Katie Landgraf (fiancé Cody Garn), Samantha Landgraf (boyfriend Sam Aschenbach), Erin (Gunnar) Joosse, Ashley Gosse (boyfriend Calvin Snyder), and Nathan Gosse. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Nolan, Kiley, Tucker, Nora, Reese, William, Gunnar Jr., Cody, Jack, and Bella.
She is further survived by her sister Rose Marie (Richard) Niemann of Sheboygan, sister-in-law Linda Zaletel of Sheboygan, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also remembered by sisters-in-law LuEllen (Ralph) Dhein and Jelane Gosse, both of Howards Grove.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; brother Albert Zaletel Jr.; grandson Michael Trumble; brother-in-law Daniel Gosse; sisters-in-law Laverne (Oliver) Schultz, Elvera (Norman) Beyer, and Elaine (William) Gwinn; and brothers-in-law LeRoy (Darlene) Gosse and Roger Gosse.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey Avenue, Sheboygan with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. A time of visitation will take place at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass.
Entombment will be held privately for immediate family at a different date.

JoAnn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her unwavering faith, generous heart, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
