John F. Winscher, 65, of Sheboygan passed away at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice on March 31, 2021. He was born on December 21, 1955 in Sheboygan to the late Harold and Marion (Lange) Winscher. John attended St. Peter Claver and Jefferson Elementary Schools and went to Sheboygan North High School. John was united in marriage to Christine Witthuhn on October 17, 1980 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Together they lived in Glenbeulah until 2010 when they moved to Sheboygan. John worked at Kohler Co. in the Engine Division. John enjoyed going fishing, cooking, gardening, woodworking, listening to music and his dogs, Alex and Nikki. He had a strong Christian faith. He will also be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love of practical jokes.
John is survived by his loving wife, Christine; siblings, Thomas (Judy) Winscher, Mary Jumes, Joseph (Mary) Winscher and Anne (Daniel) Nohl and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Winscher; brother-in-law, Louis Jumes and niece, Sunshine Sommers.
A private funeral service will be held for John and burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery in Sheboygan. Memorials can be designated to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in John’s name. Condolences may be expressed online at www.reinboldfh.com.
