So sorry to hear that John passed. I will always remember building puzzles with him at SSC. He was sweet. Will be thinking of your family. I had heard that Bonnie had been in the hospital as well. I didn't know her name was Mary and not Bonnie.

John Zelm: A Master builder & more importantly… a devoted father to Debbie, David & Dan, a loving husband to Bonnie… & a child of God. My prayers for, and my heartfelt condolences to the entire family in the loss of your father & husband. The back porch at the Zelm house was the Home base for our neighborhood kids game of "flashlight tag" at night. The Zelms always welcomed everyone in their yard & it was a blessing to be associated with them. Even though us "kids" are all older now... nothing is ever quite the same again in this lifetime after one's folks pass. I pray for peace & comfort upon your hearts; the kind that only the Lord can provide. I offer my prayers amidst your grief. James Barrie wrote, “God gave us memories so that we can have roses in December.” It is now time to gather your roses – to remember and reflect upon how great of a father/husband that you were divinely blessed with in this lifetime. Your precious memories are yours’ forever. Every story, every image, every cherished moment is safe within you, for all of time.
