Josanna Engelhardt, age 65 of Plymouth, formerly of Sheboygan, went to join her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Josie was born on September 9, 1955 to the late Donald and Joan (nee. Vrubley) Engelhardt. She attended Bethlehem Lutheran School, Farnsworth Middle School and graduated from South High School. She went on to earn her Junior CPA from Kollenbock Publishing in Milwaukee. Josie went on to further her career at Kohler Company. Josie was a kind spirit who always looked out for others, especially her younger siblings. She climbed many mountains in her lifetime and conquered them all taking pride in attending Tops, her recovery with alcoholism, attending regular AA meetings.
Josie is survived by her siblings, Madelyn (Jeffery) Ehlert of Sheboygan Falls, Ruth Engelhardt of Plymouth, and Daniel Engelhardt of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews, Marie Ehlert of Marinette, Lee (Kelly) Ehlert of Sheboygan, Sarah (Matthew) Thomas of Green Bay, and Amanda Sheedy of Ashwaubenon; several great nephews; and one great-great-niece; one uncle, Bernard (Gwen) Engelhardt of Sheboygan; and cousins, Donna DeSmith, Gloria (Timothy) Friedel, Edward (Alicia) Engelhardt, Ralph (Sandy) Engelhardt, John Engelhardt, James (Jacqui) Engelhardt, and Andrew (Deborah) Engelhardt. She is further survived by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Joan; one sister in infancy, Rachel; uncles, Ruben, Harold, and Willard; and aunts, Esther and Adeline.
A memorial service for Josie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 1121 Georgia Ave., Sheboygan, with Rev. Colin Moon officiating. There will be a visitation at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
The family extends its thanks to The Waterford caregivers and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice care.
