Joseph Norbert Licht, 79, of New Holstein, passed away at LakeHouse New Holstein on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Joseph was born to the late Norbert and Dorothy Licht on July 24, 1945 in Boyd, Wisconsin. He graduated from high school in Boyd. Joseph was united in marriage to MaryAnn Lund on June 23, 1974 in Chippewa County. Joseph was proud of his military service in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam with 575 Supply Company. He worked for over 30 years at Wigwam Mills until his retirement. Joseph was a self-taught carpenter and loved working with his hands. He enjoyed deer hunting, especially with his grandchildren and vacationing at Pike Lake, Wisconsin.
Joseph is survived by stepchildren, adopted children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his siblings John, Priscilla, Pam, Ted and Steve as well as other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife MaryAnn; in-laws Carl and Florence Lund; brothers Howard, Dick and Cliff; stepson Tom.
Per Joseph’s wishes, no services will take place. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Sheboygan.
