Joyce Neese died and went to her eternal home on December 21, 2021. She lived a full life of 89 years. Joyce was born on December 3, 1932 in Sheboygan to Hubert and Helen (Behnke) Ellinger. She attended Grant Elementary School and graduated from North High School with the class of 1952.
Joyce was training to become a dietician and worked at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center where she met Willard Neese. They married on May 12, 1960 at St. Luke United Methodist Church.
She loved being a homemaker. Joyce loved fashion, enjoyed sewing and embroidered beautiful pictures. Visits from her great-grandchildren made her happy. She also loved her pet parakeets and was proud of her family’s business, Ellingers, which still makes wooden bowls.
Joyce will be dearly missed by her two children, Jennifer (Markus) Stafford and Willard (Gail Rockwell); very special granddaughter, Angela (Zack) Pattison and three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Ian and Ronan Pattison. She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. A memorial fund has been established in Joyce’s name.
