Juanita L. Thill, age 94, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, July 09, 2021, at St. Nicholas Hospital. She was born in Sheboygan on January 30, 1927, to the late Arno and Ethel Luther Scheffler.
Juanita attended Grant School and graduated from Sheboygan North High School with class of 1945. On March 23, 1946, she was united in marriage to Earl Thill at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Earl preceded her in death in August of 2003.
Earl and Juanita built, owned, and managed the Edge-O-Town Restaurant from 1957 to 1965. Juanita worked as the hostess. She also waitressed at Sachse’s, Burhops Bungalow and retired from Meyer’s Scenic Bar.
Juanita enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting with her husband and friends. She loved to garden, canning, and baking. Many times, supplying friends and family with her goodies.
Survivors include her special nephews, Jeffrey (Lisa) Thill, David (Tina) Thill, Kevin Thill, Robert, Ronald and Randy Thill, and Michael (Barbara) Schuette; special nieces, Sheila (David) Teeselink, Bonnie Roth, Barbara Husak and Linda Thill; her former daughter-in-law, Shirley (Dan) Diels and her son, Travis (Wendy) Gensch and Addison Gensch; cousins, Ann Miller and Jeri Luther. She is further survived by other relatives and her special friends, Nancy Brockman, Denise Jumes, Sandy Kapellen, Barbara Parnitzke, Susie and Dennis Sohre, Gloria, and Doug Stelter, Valenda Tutas and many more.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Earl and her sons, Earl Jr. and Allen and her two sisters, Shirley Taylor and Virginia Schuette.
A funeral service for Juanita will held on Monday, August 2, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Rev. Todd Smith officiating. Family and friends may gather the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery in the Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Renee and Dan Gross, her niece Sheila and Dave and Kris Wollin “Wally” for all you have done for her through out her time on this earth and after.

Condolences to Juanita's family and all who knew her. I met Juanita when she and her husband ran "The Edge Of Town" restaurant. So many good memories from her time with Sacher's Tavern. Always an upbeat attitude with an infectious laugh.. I will always miss her.
