Judith (Hobbs) Wield was born in Sheboygan on August 4, 1949, to Ralph and Clara (Rhines) Hobbs. She passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 74.
On December 17, 1967, she married Charles Mason and had three children, Tina Kesweder (husband Calvin), Tracy Mason (fiancé James Carroll), and Charles Mason Jr. On August 4, 1990, she married Michael Wield and became the loving mother to stepsons, Justin (wife Alisha) and Calvin (fiancé Jolene Schlander) Wield. In 2010, she met Richard Schroeder and his daughter, Amy Schroeder. Judy and Rich enjoyed each other’s friendship and love for twelve years. They were planning to get married when, in November 2022, Richard unexpectedly preceded her in death.
Judy is further survived by her grandchildren Kaycie Mason, Raven Mason, Aaron McFarland, Malachi Brethouwer and Zarriah Carroll; and two great-grandchildren; two siblings Steven Hobbs, and Bonnie (Tom) Jarvis, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Clara Hobbs.
Per Judy’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
