Judith Elaine Gottsacker, age 84, was reunited with Robert on November 4, 2022.
Judith was born on June 30, 1938 in Sheboygan. Daughter of the late Julius J. and Augusta M. Wilke.
She attended Pigeon River grade school and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1956.
On June 1, 1957, Judith was united in marriage to Robert R. Gottsacker at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Judy began her career at Western Printing in Racine.
She studied for and received her CNA certification from Lakeshore Technical College.
Judy then worked at Morningside Nursing Home and Sheboygan Retirement Home. Her greatest joy was helping people. Her sense of humor enriched all the lives of her patients.
Judy was an avid Packer fan, and cheered them on. She also loved a good party and dancing.
Judy and Bob enjoyed remodeling their homes, and Judy made them beautiful with her decorating talent. They traveled the world together including Germany, Spain, Canada, and 42 of the United States.
Judy loved old westerns, visiting with friends for poker club, and word search puzzles. She loved cleaning (her words) and making meals for her family, always taking care of those she loved.
Judy is survived by her two sisters and brothers-in law, Joyce and Bob Hansen of Racine, and Barb and Peter Beyer of Green Bay. She is also survived by her three children, Jeffrey (Lisa) Gottsacker of Sheboygan, Ric Gottsacker of Sheboygan, and Julie (Jeff) Fintelmann of Plymouth. She loved her grandchildren, Nathan (Liz) Gottsacker, Aaron (Lisa) Gottsacker, Jordan Gottsacker, Becky Gottsacker, Katie (Cody) Walters, and Jenna Fintelmann, great-grandchildren Landon Gottsacker, Carter Gottsacker, Roman Gottsacker, Allison Gottsacker and Sophia Walters and former daughter-in-law, DeAnne Gottsacker. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Judy’s beloved husband and dance partner preceded her in death on 8/28/2018, along with her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Malcolm Sabrowsky, brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Vernie Wilke, and grandson, Seth Fintelmann.
Visitation will be held at on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Sheboygan County Humane Society or Sheboygan Meals on Wheels in Judy’s Name.
