Judith Helen Friederichs, age 81, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 07, 2025, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was born in Sheboygan on November 11, 1943, to the late Ervin and Viola Mohs Oehldrich.
Judith attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1962. On August 24, 1968, she was united in marriage to James C. Friederichs at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. James preceded her in death in 1981. Judith was employed at The Vollrath Company, Plymouth Oil and in her retirement, she enjoyed her employment at Walmart.
Judith was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She belonged to various singing groups and choirs throughout the years, including the church choir and the Plymouth Art Center Singers. Judith enjoyed playing the accordion, puzzling, knitting, reading, dog training, gardening, and tending to the many critters that visited her backyard. Most recently she enjoyed traveling via bus tours with her cousin Susie.
Survivors include her four step children, William (Deborah) Friederichs, Bruce (Brenda) Friederichs, both of Plymouth, Sarah (Steven) Dalton, of Bethlehem, PA, and Thomas (Kelly) Friederichs, of Apopka, FL; thirteen step-grandchildren, Vicki (Tim) Schultz, Kim (Ryan) Davis, Kristin (Mark) Skul, Kyle (Chelsea), Karly, Kevin, and Korey Friederichs, Ryan (Joanna), Brandon, and Rebecca Dalton, James (Melissa), Sam (Brooke Shepard) and Jesse (Daniell Amburgey) Friederichs. Judith is further survived by her seventeen step-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a step-grandson, Corey Dalton, and a stepdaughter-in-law, Patti Friederichs.
A funeral service for Judith will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Rev. Patrick Niles officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery.
