Judith J. “Judy” Schlehlein

Judy Schlehlein was born on April 14, 1930 and passed away on March 1, 2022 at the age of 91. She attended Trinity Grade School and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. Judy then attended Sheboygan Falls Teachers College and graduated from Lakeland College. She was united in marriage with Robert Schlehlein at Trinity Lutheran Church on June 17, 1950. Judy enjoyed gardening, flowers, getting lunch with her lady friends, entertaining guests at her home and traveling with Robert to the mountains in Tennessee and the eastern United States. She also had a love for music and sang for many celebrations and enjoyed playing her baby grand piano.
Judy is survived by her sons, David (Barb) Schlehlein of Prescott Valley, AZ and Steven (Deborah) Schlehlein; grandchildren, Amy Wayte, Abigail (Bryce Jr.) Barrington, Scott (Audra) Schlehlein of Elmira, NY and Leah (Chris) Cowart of Waterloo, IA; greatgrandchildren, Isabelle and Sydney Barrington, Daniel and Magdelynn Wayte. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, James; parents, Edwin and Olga Puls and sister, Ruth.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Compassus Hospice and Sheboygan Progressive Nursing Home for their care of Judy.
