Judy A. Berenz, age 75, of Sheboygan, died on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Antigo, WI on March 24, 1947, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Clara Palubicki Flannery.

She attended local schools in Pelican Lake, WI, and graduated from Elcho High School in 1965. Judy was employed at Cutler Hammer in Milwaukee and Milwaukee Cheese Company in Sheboygan. She ultimately retired from the Sheboygan Public School System in 2011 after 24 years of employment as an educational assistant. Judy loved working with children of all ages.

She spent her time reading, working outside in the yard and spending time with her daughter and three granddaughters. Judy was an inspiration to her family and others with her attitude of gratitude and sunny disposition. She focused on and appreciated life’s simple pleasures and had the wisdom to accept things she could not change. The selfless way she gave of herself, and prioritized family will always be remembered by her girls.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Miller; three granddaughters, Lila, Eva, and Ella Miller, all of Sheboygan; a step-daughter, Christine (Pat) Keyes, of Brookfield, brothers, William (Jean Sabol) Flannery, of Sheboygan, and Jeff Flannery, of Crandon; and her sisters, Monna Flannery, of Fond du Lac, and Althea (Jim) McMillion, of Crandon. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Judy will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Pastor Chris McNight officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
