Juergen Jorsch was born on February 14, 1953, and passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany and met the liebe/love of his life, Gisela, in the subway in the fall of 1969. Juergen spent 4 years in the German military drafted as a radar operator. After his service, he started as an apprentice at ECH Will as an electrical engineer. This would lead to a very rewarding career with the company for 38 years. Juergen then joined Domtar till his retirement a few years later.
Gisela and Juergen joined in marriage June 6, 1975, and celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this year. Throughout those years, they traveled all over the world and saw many amazing places thanks to Juergens job. They fell in love with America and made the decision to move to the States in 2004. They spent 5 years in Green Bay before settling into their forever home in Sheboygan in 2009. Here Juergen enjoyed visiting the beach, watching the fish in his pond and building his dream basement and bar area. This was a very special place for him. Juergen was very proud of the life they built here in the United States!
Juergen is survived by his wife Gisela and his family in Germany which includes many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 5:00 PM at Reinbold Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St. Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 3:00 PM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon Richardson Community Hospice.
