Julie L. Kregel
It’s with deep sadness to share the passing of our sister, aunt and friend Julie Kregel. She passed away on January 14th, 2026, at Sharon Richardson Hospice, after suffering a stroke. She was born on October 23rd, 1967.
Julie attended James Madison School in Sheboygan. She also attended and worked at RCS of Sheboygan for many years and was in several of the plays.
Julie loved music! Whether it was listening to her one of her many CD’s, or going to shows at Weill Center in Sheboygan and the Capitol Center in Manitowoc, she just enjoyed it all! She even got to see one of her favorites, Barry Manilow!
Julie loved doing arts and crafts with all the residence at Pine Haven where she lived.
Julie loved Christmas! Whether it was watching Christmas movies or listening to music. If it was up to her, she would celebrate it year-round!
Survivors include her sisters, Linda (Paul) Vavra from Manitowoc, Rose Holtz (Merlin) from New Holstien, Cheri Ponath from Sheboygan Falls, and her brother, John (Marilyn) Kregel, of Sheboygan Falls. She is also survived her nephews Trevor Vavra, Paul Vavra, Craig Holtz, Brett Holtz, Matthew Zeman, and Niece Michelle Lewis and her very special friend Andrea Batt and her parents.
