Karen Feustel passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 77. She was born on April 4, 1946 in Rhinelander, WI to the late Riley and Verna (Gennett) Wilke. On September 24, 1983, she was united in marriage with Joseph Feustel Sr. in Sheboygan, WI.
Karen was full of life and always liked having a good time. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling to Las Vegas and shopping. During her working years she was employed at Sally’s Beauty Supply, Fashion Bug and bartended at various establishments in the Sheboygan area.
Karen is survived by her husband, Joseph Feustel Sr.; children, Ricky (Anne) Wakefield, Scott (Sandy) Wakefield, Cindy (Jeff) Hebert, Jeff (Mandy) Wakefield, Deborah (Roger) Robinson, Joseph (Don) Feustel Jr., Roxanne (Bruce) Feider and Kris Feustel; grandchildren, Joshua Wakefield, Cassandra (Adam) Koepsell, Chase Hebert, Carlee (fiancé Christopher) Maas, Charlie Hebert, Zay Hebert, Chad (Christina) Robinson, Tim (fiancée Kate) Robinson and Mallory (fiancé Jake) Bui; great-grandchild, baby Koepsell on the way; brother, Ronnie Wilke; sister-in-law, Marilyn Wilke; special niece, Debra (Carey) Wilke-Klug; former spouse, Ronald Wakefield; Joe’s siblings, Jerry (Doris) Feustel, Janet (Allen) Wenlund, Mary Anne (Ross) Baldock, Erma (Ken) Ramm, Mark (Virgil) Feustel, Gary Schomberg and Mary Feustel. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard (Jan) Wilke; sister and brothers-in-law, Theresa Schomberg, Ronnie Feustel Sr. and Michael Feustel and parents-in-law, Roman and Dorothy Feustel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Karen’s name.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the caregivers at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County and the Sheboygan County EMT and ambulance services for their care of Karen.
