Karl-Heinz Roskosch, age 83 of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Karl was born on November 17, 1942, in Leobschuetz, Germany, to the late Albert and Franziska (Tront) Roskosch. On April 16, 1966, he was united in marriage to Doris Behm at St. Clement Catholic Church. Together, they shared 60 beautiful years of marriage and built a wonderful life centered around family and community.

For 65 years, Karl owned and operated his barber shop, Hair and Flair, becoming a well-known and respected figure in the Sheboygan business community. Karl knew everyone, and everyone seemed to know Karl; wherever he went, he was sure to run into someone who knew him.

Beyond his dedication to his craft and clients, Karl was passionate about staying active and being outdoors. He spent many happy hours watching and playing soccer, biking, and tending to his garden. Above all, he cherished the time he spent making memories with his family and close friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doris; his children, Kristine (James) Fuhrmann of Howard and Michael (Susan) Roskosch of Suamico; his cherished grandchildren, Mitchell (Samantha) Fuhrmann, Mallory Fuhrmann, and Georgia Roskosch; and his precious great-granddaughter, Eleanor Rose. He is further survived by Juergen Behm, Olaf (Barbara) Behm, Udo (Carol) Behm, Rudy (Esther) Weiss and by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Vanessa; his brother, Joseph; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Werner and Meta Behm and sister-in-law Ruth Behm.

Family and friends may gather to honor Karl’s life at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to his doctors (Dr. Matthew Hemsing and Freddie Mertzig), the nurses and staff at St. Nicholas Hospital and Sharon Richardson for their exceptional care and support.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Karl’s name.

I met Karl at Holy Name church years ago and sought him out to sit next to him. Later Karl was a member of St. Peter Claver church where I also moved to the south side. He was a great supporter of Gesangverein Concordia - The Concordia Singing Society where German cultural music is still sung. Rest in Peace, Karl and our sympathies to Doris. Bruce and Marcia Timm.
