Kathryn “Kaye” King, age 74, of Sheboygan passed away Tuesday April 18, 2023. Kaye was born February 21, 1949, in Manitowoc to the late Christ Jr. and Ruth (Goetz) Yurk. Kaye was a 1968 graduate of South High School. On November 22, 1969, Kaye was united in marriage to Robert King at Bethlehem Lutheran Church; he preceded her in death February 3, 2018. She was employed by and retired from Mayline. Kaye enjoyed bowling, playing cards, bingo, casino trips and traveling with her husband Bob.
Survivors include sisters Barb Holzer of Sheboygan, Mary (Marvin) Foster of Sheboygan Falls, brothers Paul (Pat) Yurk, Richard (Jean) Yurk, Chuck (Wendy) Yurk all of Sheboygan, brother-in-law Tony Valenta of Florida, sisters-in-law Deb Yurk and Margarite Yurk both of Sheboygan. Kaye is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings James Yurk, Judy Valenta, John Yurk, Christian Yurk and Fred Yurk.
Family and friends may gather at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Tuesday April 25, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Deacon Mike Burch will officiate. Entombment will take place at a later date at Sunrise Memorial Garden.
