Kenzie Longxuan Mueller, age 13, of Kohler, was called to heaven on Friday, May 15, 2026, at home, while wrapped in the caring and protective arms of her mother and father. Born in Jinan, China, on December 14, 2012, Kenzie was lovingly adopted by Kenneth and Amy Mueller on September 14, 2014, and raised in the Village of Kohler. She attended the Kohler School District.
Although Kenzie could not speak with words, she spoke a million words through her smile, expressions, laughter, and the love she shared with those around her. Deeply loved by her family, Kenzie brought immense joy, light, and happiness wherever she went, and in return gave endless love and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She especially loved the simple joys of being surrounded by her family. Some of her happiest moments were spent during annual trips to apple orchards and pumpkin patches, taking carriage rides during Christmastime to look at the lights around the village, visiting Santa, swimming with her dad at the Sports Core, enjoying beach days, family road trips, and vacations to Ephraim, WI and Walt Disney World Resort. She loved cooking and baking with her mom, watching church services via livestream and her favorite cartoons, books read aloud, family game nights, being silly with her sisters, being with her two beloved dogs, birdwatching and being sung to by her grandmother.
Kenzie is survived by her parents; her two sisters, Della and Chloe; and her grandmother, Joanne Kautzer, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mae Ann Mueller; her aunt, Tina Stoiber; and her uncle, David Mueller.
A funeral service celebrating Kenzie’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Avenue, Sheboygan, with Pastor Timothy J. Mech officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at Woodland Kohler Village Cemetery.
Her family’s world feels immeasurably empty without her beautiful presence.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to all who walked alongside Kenzie throughout her life and is especially thankful for the care, compassion, and support provided by Bethany Christian Services, Children’s Wisconsin, Stephen Ministry, Dr. William B. Rizzo, Make-A-Wish, Give Kids The World Village, Kohler Public School District, Pastor Timothy J. Mech of Trinity Lutheran Church and Compassus Hospice Care. The family also extends heartfelt appreciation to nurses Jessica, Ciara, Crystal, Jenny, Andrea, Michelle, Allison, and Linnea for their kindness and dedicated care, which will never be forgotten.

Memorial contributions in Kenzie’s honor will be thoughtfully used to preserve and celebrate her memory.
