Kim Hogue was born on October 15, 1965 and passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on April 25, 2023 at the age of 57. She attended Plymouth High School where she was on the dive team as well as played in the band. She also attended Sheboygan North High School and John Casablancas Modeling School in Colorado. During her working years she was a caregiver and managed an assisted living home in Florida. Kim was a very good cook, enjoyed Harley Davidsons, canning pickles and more than anything, she loved all of her animals.
Kim is survived by her mother, Carol (Peter) Kortenhorn; siblings, Lisa (Brett) Ver Velde and Jack Hogue; niece, Andrea Garrison; great-nephew, Tristan Garrison; fiance, Dennis Grusznski; stepson, Kyle (Amy); “grandchildren”, Renee, Kaleb, Hayley; mother-in-law, Mary; brother and sisters-in-law, Gary, Sharon (Jim) Summers and Jennifer (Ryan) Wiegert. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special pets, Teddy, Calie and Kit Cat. Kim is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hogue; grandparents, Martin (Elaine) Thompson and Milford (Ida) Hogue; father-in-law, Clarence Grusznski; sister-in-law, Karen Huebschmann and brother-in-law, Carl Bayens; special friend, Mary Schuffner and her pets, Stocker, Stocker 2, Benji, Buster and Meeko.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Kim’s name.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center especially Allison in critical care and Jason from hospice.
